International and world premiere of "The Monroe Syndrome"

From 6th to 9th of May, 2019, in Nikosia, the International Motion Festival will take place for the 5th time, introducing the local viewers to the best innovative films from all over the world.It is a platform for the presentation of the most modern and creative works, and it is the first festival of its kind on Cyprus. Within the film showing, selected works, invited professionals’ lectures and master classes dedicated to motion graphics and communicative software are to be presented.

Natalia Bereg’s student work "The Monroe Syndrome" (produced in Vladimir Khotinenko’s VKSR workshop http://www.kinobraz.ru), has been selected to the competitive program and the festival showing will be the international and world premiere of the film.

The short art film "The Monroe Syndrome" is a tale of a woman in her forties experiencing the first signs of her body’s aging. It is a tale with no words and no action – only the purely emotional narrative, brought sometimes to the level of grotesque, in an argument with great drama.
